2015 5k #4: BGSU's Freddie & Frieda Falcon Homecoming 5k

On Saturday, October 17, 2015, I completed my fourth 5k race of the year. It was cold - only 37 degrees! - and I was fighting either allergies or a head cold. It didn't stop me! I was able to jog the entire distance without walking and I got my best time EVER!

2015 5k #3: Muckfest MS Detroit

On Saturday, August 1, 2015, I completed my third 5k of the year. It was a warm and breezy day, with temperatures in the upper 70s - in other words: a perfect day!

This 5k was special... it was a fundraiser for MS, which one of my friends has, and the route was sprinkled with muddy obstacles. I completed every obstacle except for one (I couldn't get over my fear of heights). We got super dirty!

Update! On August 7th, they released all the (free) photos that professionals took throughout the event. They have been added to the bottom of this post. :)

On Sunday, June 7, 2015, I completed my second 5k race of the year. It was a muggy day, with temperatures in the 70s, but at least is wasn't raining this year!

2015 5k Race #1: Shamrocks and Shenanigans

On Sunday, March 8, 2015, I completed my first 5k race of the year. It was a cold morning, but the sun was shining. I painted shamrocks on my face and wore as much green as I had!
